In Quentin Tarantino's Deathproof, in rural America while in a gas station convenience store the guy behind the counter says to the girls under his breath, "Italian Vogue, I got Italian Vogue.". They say what? And he repeats it., so they say "sure I guess...". Soon after, I go to Italy for the first time, see an Italian Vogue and figure I should go for it since it seems to be a thing.
Ever since then, I get a Vogue Magazine for every country I go to. Its the perfect souvenir, slim, the native country's aesthetic and tell you where you went and when you went.
